i'M HOME AND DOING GREAT

Hi everyone -- the surgery lasted 3 1/2 hrs, and we got home around 3 p.m. from the surgery at 8 a.m.   Not much pain thanks to ice bag and elevating my foot.   Doc said everything went "great".   Today I have gotten all around the house by myself in the wheel chair.  Sis is doing the cooking, dishes, etc. and it's a joy to have her here with me.

Thanks for all your prayers and concerns. 

Four weeks of non-weight bearing on my foot to going to be a real trial.

I am glad everything went so well. I would come to see you this weekend but Im only going to be in Chicago for one day. Couldnt stay long cause of working.

Pat...I am so glad you are home and not doing too bad. I am like you and do so much better at home and on my own!!
